My name is John Gargett and this Blog is designed for comments on the use of GIS in Emergency Management for tools that are available via the web with little or no cost to the end user.
There are really two sites that have emerged into this space, Virtual Earth from Microsoft and Google Earth. Both are being used, and it is hoped that people will send items to be posted. At this time, the blog is not open to the world for posting, but submission of an article is welcomed.
